From Octobre 18 to 21, the German Mozart Society presents the house music competition “Home Pit(ch)” as part of the 61st German Mozart Festival.

Because of many enquiries, we decided to extend the application deadline – new closing date is June 30.

Further, we slightly modified the terms of participation. Ensembles with no more than one professional musician now are able to apply as well. The jury will evaluate those applications separately, so the competition stays fair.

We realised that the submission of an audio sample causes problems for some ensembles. To enable anyone who is interested to participate, the submission of a recording is no longer mandatory. However, if a sound carrier exists (MP3, CD or DVD) it should be sent in to simplify the selection procedure.
