"There's a knock at Vanya in the Night" - piece of music for large and small children by  Thomas Johannes Mandl based on the children's book by Tilde Michels and Reinhard Michl.

The Russian hunter Vanya lives lonely in his hut and one night during a snow storm one after one the hare, fox and bear come to him and ask for protection. It remains all fours no choice but to spend a night together in peace. While a speaker  tells the story, four instrument from the classical symphony orchestra come to the fore.
