After seven long months of silence, imposed by the current pandemic situation, music finally returns to resonate in Sala Mozart.

Starting from October 3, in fact, the main door of Palazzo Carrati in Via Guerrazzi 13, home of the Accademia Filarmonica, will open to the public for the concert of the Merini Quartet - a two-shift concert, 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. -, the first of eight appointments, from October to December to Saturday afternoon, which will also see the special participation of the Soloists of the Mozart Orchestra.

The concert season opens in a special week - from October 3 to 11 - dedicated to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Mozart's joining the Philharmonic Academy of Bologna; here, in fact, on October 9, 1770, accompanied by Father Leopold and prepared by Padre Martini, the young Wolfgang, just 14 years old, took the exam for admission. The Accademia Filarmonica celebrates this anniversary with free guided tours to the Sala del Compito and the Sala Mozart (4 and 11 October, 11 a.m.), concerts with music by Mozart and Padre Martini (3 and 10 October) and a special round table (9 October, 5.45 p.m.) dedicated to the study of the documents that enabled the young Salzburg composer to obtain the coveted title of Maestro Compositore.
